I consider myself a pretty hand’s-on kind of father. I do quite a bit of the parenting at home and according to expert opinion (my wife and kids), I’m a pretty good dad. I accept the fact that these opinions may be a bit biased, but I’m sure my kids aren’t lying when they say I’m the best dad in the world. I’m also sure it’s not because I’ve just bought them a bunch of toys and asked them to say that before I hand it over…

Anyway, I thought I’d share some of the insights I’ve gained throughout the years. This won’t be just about parenting, though. My professional life also involves children, as I own a company focused on developing resources for early childhood care and education. I’ll also be talking a bit about work related things too, whether technical areas of early childhood or the administrative things around office life. I do hope you enjoy this, but as a final word, please remember that these are largely my personal experiences. Every child is different and every parent is different so what worked for me, may not work for you.
